Juanita Henrietta Mysak, 77, of 674 Dubuque Rd., Springville, died Monday, March 15, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, by the Rev. David Ambrosy. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: Springville Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Henry; her children, Steve Mysak, Dixie Brady and Diane Brown, all of Springville; five brothers, Rex Rickels of Monticello, Roger Rickels of Onslow, David Rickels of Anamosa, Darrell Rickels of Palo and Merle Rickels of Olin; and two sisters, Donna Joslin of Tucson, Arizona, and Velda Brokens of Monticello.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Shawn Grassfield, Travis and Troy Mysak, and Stephanie Brady, all of Cedar Rapids, Shelli Brady of Springville and Todd Mysak of Seymour, Indiana; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Virgil, Bud and Jerry Rickels; and a sister, Delores Tapken.
Juanita was born January 7, 1927, the daughter of Clarence and Martha (Behnken) Rickels, in Anamosa. On April 21, 1944, she married Henry Anton Mysak in Anamosa.
