Joyce Marie Coblentz, 77, of Marion, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 Ascenion Lutheran Church in Marion.
Survivors include her children, Selina Huckins of Hiawatha, Timothy (Tanya) Coblentz of Shellsburg; her five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Coblentz; her son, David Coblentz; and six brothers and sisters.
Joyce was born October 10, 1938, to Everett and Theresa (Appleby) Henderson in Hopkinton, Iowa. She married Danny Coblentz on November 24, 1956, in Marion. Joyce worked as an aide at Crestview Acres for many years and retired in 1999. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Marion.
