Joseph A. Frazier, Sr.

Joseph A. Frazier, Sr., 72, 2441 9th Avenue SW, died Saturday, December 13, 2003, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas, following a sudden illness. Private Graveside Services will be held at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his daughters Pamela (Pam) Machen and husband Tom of Cedar Rapids, Patricia Ann of Aurora, Illinois; a son, Joe Jr. and wife Tami of Coggon; six grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Hughes and husband Bill, and his brothers, Milford and wife Elaine, Gerald and Beryl and wife Pat, all of Cedar Rapids.
Joseph was born March 11, 1931, in Cedar Rapids, the son John E. and Grace (Burke) Frazier. He married Louise Stahle in Vinton, Iowa. She died in 1990. Joseph was a truck driver for 37 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Teamsters and the Eagles Club. Joseph will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
