Jose Enrique Mendoza, 17, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, November 8, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City, from injuries following an automobile accident. Memorial Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Narciso and Ada Mendoza of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Roxanne Mendoza and Alberto Mendoza, at home; and his grandparents, Rosa & Javier Arevalo and Margarita & Narciso Mendoza of Mexico.
Jose was born February 2, 25, 1993, the son of Narciso and Ada (Arevalo) Mendoza, in Brownsville, Texas. He was a student of Metro High School.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Jose.
