Jose Luis Burgos-Huesca, 57, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his home. A visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his brother, Jorge Burgos-Huesca; nephew, Miguel A. Burgos; nieces, Denise Hernandez, Anel Burgos, and Janet Burgos; great-nieces, Alicia, Xochitl, and Itzel; and great-nephews, Manuel A., Luis, Manuel, Santiago, and Miguel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roberto Burgos Huesca; and sister, Gloria Paredes Huesca.
