Jon Jeffrey Honolka

Jon Jeffrey Honolka, 50, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his mother, Kay (Mike) McMillan; father, Don (Sharon) Honolka of Arlington, Texas; brothers, Jack (Rhonda), Jim (Sandi) and Jeff; sister, Suzanne (Joe) Dudek; and numerous aunts, uncles nephews and one niece.
Jon was born on March 18, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, son of Don Honolka and Kay (Critchfield) McMillan. He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. Jon played basketball and baseball simply for the love of the game.
