Jolene Marie Boge, 44, of Monticello, formerly of Earlville, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, following a short battle with cancer. Visitation: 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Clifton – Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville, with a 2:00 pm Scripture Service. Additional visitation will be held Monday, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Earlville, Iowa, conducted by Rev. Dennis Conway. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Earlville.
Jolene was born February 24, 1974, in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of James and Theresa (Nefzger) Boge. She was a 1992 graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School. Jolene worked for eighteen years at TransAmerica in Cedar Rapids. She was an avid Cedar Rapids RoughRiders hockey fan, and loved the time she spent painting with her friends. Jolene enjoyed her time with family and friends and lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include her parents, Jim and Theresa Boge; siblings, Julie (Craig) Davis, Connie (Lonnie) Helms, Karen (Paul) Fransen, Elaine Boge, and brother-in-law, Ed Raye; nieces and nephews, Alex Davis, Taylor (Austin) Pflughaupt, Tanner, Tyson, Tessa Helms, Phoebe, Kierstin, Peyton, and Aubrey Fransen.
Jolene was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Raye.
