John Eugene Henderson

John Eugene Henderson, 61, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the care center, following a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Linda Livingston. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Diannia of Marion; a son, Eugene of Marion; a daughter, Megan Henderson of Marion; his father, John Henderson of Toddville; a sister, Barbara (Gene) Owens of Alburnett; three brothers, Tom (Kathy) Henderson of Cedar Rapids, Steve Henderson of Toddville and Douglas (Maureen) Henderson of Marion; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila; a sister, Sharon Henderson; and a sister-in-law, Susan Henderson.
John was born August 12, 1943, the son of John Everett and Lila (Boots) Henderson in Iowa City. On June 16, 1984, he married Diannia Kepler in Toddville. He was a custodian at Rockwell-Collins for thirty-five years. John was a member of IBEW 1362.
