John Roy Grunder Jr., 80, of Mechanicsville, died Monday, May 13, 2012 at home. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Eva; borther, Edward (Margaret) Grunder; sisters-in-law, Evelyn East and Betty Aman; and brothers-in-law, Arthur (Jeanette) Reusch, and Robert (Evelyn) Reusch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Roy Grunder III; and brother, Raymond East.
John was born November 22, 1931 in Mechanicsville, the son of John Roy Sr. and Beula (Andre) Grunder. He was a veteran on the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War. John married Eva Reusch on December 6, 1957.
