Joan E. Moore, 77, a resident of Northbrook Manor Care Center, formerly of Marion, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at the care center, following a long illness. Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include her children, Jean Jacobson of Healdsburg, California, Joyce (Les) Nouget of Newport Beach, California, Joel (September) Jacobson of Marion, Julie Fill of Arroyo Grande, California, and Jeralyn (Dennis) Heath of Marion; two sisters, Marlys (Richard) Maske of Marion and Geraldine Burian of Marion; a brother, David Stanbro of Satellite Beach, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Dolores Yeisley; and two nephews, TomYeisley and Cameron Stanbro.
Joan was born July 12, 1930, the daughter of Thomas and Verna (Willaby) Stanbro in Iowa Falls. She graduated from Marion High School. Joan worked as a nurse’s aide at Crestview Acres Care Center and Mercy Hospital for many years.
A memorial fund has been established in Joan’s memory.
