Jill M. Martin, 48, of Manchester, died Monday evening, March 21, 2005, at St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester by Rev. Msgr. Ralph Simington. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour before services Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Delhi.
Jill was born the daughter of Harold H. and Venita Anne (Tibbitts) Martin on February 16, 1957 in Wahiawa, Hawaii. She graduated from West Delaware High School in 1976.
Jill loved cats, was a Chicago Cubs fan and an avid Bingo player. Jill will be remembered as being a plain, simple and caring person.
Jill is survived by her mother, V. Anne Martin of Manchester; her twin sister, Julie Martin of Manchester; two brothers, David Martin and his wife Claudia Jean of Marion and Donald Martin of Manchester; her nieces and nephews, Angela Fox, Joshua Martin and John Cristiani; and a great-niece, Madelyne Fox.
Jill was preceded in death by her father, Harold H. Martin; her grandparents, Henry Martin and Raymond & Hope Tibbitts; a sister, Kathy Guisti; and a niece, Jennifer Guisti.
