Jessie Ann Murphy, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, November 1, 2010, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Burial: Our Lady of Lord Cemetery in Burgestown, Pennsylvania. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her daughter, Kellie Murphy of Cedar Rapids; brothers and sisters, Jerry Murphy of Allepo, West Virginia, Gretchen Murphy of Tallahassee, Florida, Timothy Murphy of Grayling, Michigan, Ted Murphy of Canton, Missouri, and Sharon Murphy of Tallahassee, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jessie was born August 18, 1941, the daughter of James and Anna (Raible) Murphy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She worked as an electrician for Universal Stainless & Alloy in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, retiring in 2009.
