Jerry K. Baldwin, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 20, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Carmelita; his children, Michael Dacunos of Kansas City, Missouri, Preston Baldwin and Monica Baldwin, both of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Janet (Steven) Trosdahl of Urbana, Joyce Rundle of Cedar Rapids and JoAnn Baldwin of Marion; and brother, James (Mary) Baldwin of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jeannette Baldwin, Jr.; and brother, John E. Baldwin.
Jerry was born August 27, 1955, the son of, John and Jeannette (Robinson) Baldwin, Jr. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A 1974 graduate of Kennedy High School, he joined the United States Marines. Jerry married Carmelita Dacunos on May 26, 1979, in Cedar Rapids. After returning from the service, he worked at Menards for 25 years and most recently with the Adidas Group.
Jerry enjoyed listening to Country Western music, coin collecting, car shows, going to auctions, and most of all being with his family.
