Jeffrey Brian Winter

Jeffrey Brian Winter, 46, of 1244 19th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 in his home following a short illness. Private family services will be held at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Jeff is survived by his parents Linda (Clair) Scott and Richard (Linda) Winter; his grandmother, Majorie P. Jones; his grandfather, Edward Winter; his siblings, Tracy Spicer, Sheri (Randy) Dvorak, Elizabeth Estrada, Jorge (Miriam) Galindo, and Michael (Ashley) Galindo; his aunts, Jolene Jones, Carol (Glen) Randolph; his uncles, Dave Winter, Bill Winter, Tim (Denise) Winter, Lonnie Winter; his nieces Ashli, Erika, Kaitlyn, Macaylah, Camryn, Hailee, and Meghan; and his nephews, Brandon, Xavier, Colton and Ethan. He was also survived by special friend and father figure, Tom Owen.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Jones and grandmother, Evelyn Winter.
Jeff was born at St. Luke’s Hospital November 16, 1961. He was a 1980 graduate of Jefferson High School. He wed Stacey Meyer in 1986. They later divorced but continued to remain friends.
Jeff was involved in the garment printing business since high school, having worked for Eby’s, Galt Sand, Starter, Reebok, ESP 3 and Adidas.
Jeff was a fun loving, free spirit with countless friends and a loving family. He was also a great Iowa Hawkeye and San Francisco 49ers fan.
Jeff will be greatly missed, but we will all cherish our memories of him.
