Jeffrey Mark Schulte, 43, of 1045 5th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center, following a sudden illness. The family will greet friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his father, Mark (Elaine) Schulte; his stepfather, Bill Elliott; a brother, Clark Schulte; a sister, Marcy (Shawn) Murphy; and his grandmother, Ruth Schulte, all of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Elliott; and his grandparents, Ruth Siepman, Leo Siepman and Harold Schulte.
Jeffrey was born January 11, 1963, the son of Mark and Marcia Siepman Schulte, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He liked to cook, read and watch movies. Jeffrey also enjoyed helping others with odd jobs, carpentry and gardening.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Jeffrey.
