Jeanne Irene Beachler

Jeanne I. Beachler, 83, of Evergreen Estates, Cedar Rapids, passed away November 16, 2005, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. There will be no church service or visitation at Jeanne?s request. Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Keystone, Iowa, conducted by Chaplain Christine Wagner-Hecht. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, John Beachler, Jr. of Zephyr Hills, Florida; her daughter, Jodi Beachler of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Pat Meyer of Cedar Rapids and Mary Becker of Newhall; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Bernadine Wieben of Calumet City, Illinois.
Jeanne was born in Keystone, Iowa, on July 18, 1922, the daughter of Clarence and Irene (Bechthold) O?Brien. She married John Beachler in 1942, and they were later divorced. She operated a beauty shop in Keystone for several years and retired from Rockwell Collins after 30 years of employment. Jeanne enjoyed playing cards weekly with her sisters and a special niece, Pam Malczynski.
