Jeanine A. Paige, 67, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bohnenkamp - Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2016, at Triumphant Church, Independence, Iowa, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.

Jeanine is survived by her three daughters, Cher (Scott) Delperdang, Julie (Darrel) Rich, and Jennie (Josh) Stiefel; grandchildren, Austin and Kirsten Stiefel, Isaiah, Faith, Jenna, and James Rich, and C.J. Beatty, all of Manchester; two sisters, Diane (Terry) Helmrichs of Cedar Falls, and Nancy File of Council Bluffs; a nephew, Brian Helmrichs of Cedar Falls; a brother-in-law, Randall (Liz) Paige of Sacramento, California; and her dear cat, Abby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Thelma (Jones) File.

Jeanine was born at Bolin Hospital on November 29, 1948, in Manchester, Iowa. She was the first daughter of Howard and Thelma File. Jeanine graduated from Manchester High School, spent time in Alaska then attended Foothill Community College in Los Altos Hills, California.

In December 1970, she married Robert Paige at the Manchester United Methodist Church. They were later divorced. She worked at the Manchester Pharmacy, and she owned and operated Country Paige Florist and Gifts in Independence for 13 years. She most recently worked at the Penn Center in Delhi.

Jeanine’s passion was working with her flowers. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, family picnics at Backbone, biking, reading, crafts, following the Iowa Hawkeyes football and basketball, spending time with her family, sewing doll clothes for her granddaughters, attending swim meets for her grandkids (Swim Grandma), and singing and worshiping her Lord.
