Mrs. Jean Ford Stewart, aged 86, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday January 8, 2013. Funeral Services: 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Murdoch Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Reverend Tim Dyck. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday January 13, 2013, at the funeral home
She is survived by the following: two sons, Thomas of Ocean Springs Mississippi, and J.T. of Atlanta Georgia; her granddaughter, Holly Stewart of Atlanta; her older brother, Ralph Ford of Wichita Kansas; as well as numerous nephews and nieces
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Stewart.
Mrs. Stewart was a lifelong homemaker and resident of Cedar Rapids. Born on October 4, 1926, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Mrs. Stewart was the daughter of Rolla and Frances (Lothian) Ford.
