Jason David Gryp, 39, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed Sunday, March 12, 2023. A celebration of life will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Wild Hogs Saloon, 350 Commercial Drive, Walford, Iowa. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.
Jason was born March 24, 1983, in Grinnell, Iowa, the son of Todd Wagner and Teresa Gryp. He graduated from Metro High School. Jason worked as a cook for Wild Hogs Saloon. He enjoyed music, art, and cooking. Above all else, Jason loved his children.
Survivors include his mother, Teresa (Sonny) Parker; father, Todd Wagner; children, Dylan Caskey, Danika Gryp, Sofia Gryp, and Elora Gryp; grandchild, Delanei; siblings, Levi (Shawnda) Wagner, Blake Wagner, Carli (Kawami) Morrow, Kaitlyn Rathjen, and Sydney Wagner; and companion, Amber Snider.
