Janice Belle Moyer-Hess, 47, of 2565 Windy Hill Circle, Central City, died Monday, August 8, 2005, at work from a heart attack. Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 12, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Horseshoe Falls Lodge, Pinicon Ridge Park in Central City, where a pot luck dinner will follow. Arrangements with Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her husband, David Hess of Central City; two daughters, Bonyta Belle (Donny Albaugh) Moyer of Troy Mills and Alisha Hess of Central City; her father, Larry (Donna) Hotz of Mt. Vernon; her mother, Janet (Harvey) Aldridge of Patterson, Iowa; a brother, Jerry (Elvira) Hotz of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Joanne (Fred) Sirdoreus of Runnells, Iowa.
Also surviving is her grandson, Anthony. She was preceded in death by her brother, Matt Hotz; and two infant sisters.
Janice was born the daughter of Larry Hotz and Janet Hotz Aldridge on May 20, 1958, in Cedar Rapids. She was employed at Midwest Manufacturing for many years. Janice was an accomplished artist, poet and had a special love for animals and wildlife.
Janice was a loving mother, and everyone?s friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial fund has been established in Janice?s memory and may be sent to Farmers State Bank in Alburnett, 115 Main Street, Alburnett 52202.
