Janette A. Jamison, 79, a resident of Living Center West, in Cedar Rapids, died there Sunday, January 4, 2009, following a sudden illness. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 9, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Jim (Cynthia) Vernon of Cedar Rapids and JoAnne (Gerald) Sill of Springville; grandchildren, Brian, Scott, Mike, Tanya, Tammie, Sherry, Shelly and Jerry, Jr.; and nine great grandchildren.
Janette was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert.
Janette was born February 11, 1929, in Linn County, the daughter of Eugene and Irene (Turner) Ellison. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. Janette worked for Wilson Company and Farmstead. In 1968, she married Robert Jamison. He died October 30, 1986.
Janette was a member of the P3 retirees.
