Janet Mae Livingston

Janet Mae Livingston, 78, of 1375 26th Street, Marion, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, in her home following a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Faith Lutheran Church, Marion, by the Rev. John Albertson. Visitation will be at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; her children, Kurt (Linda) Livingston of Marion, Ellen (Dennis) Schmuecker of Marion, Mark (Susan) Livingston of Central City and Eric (Patricia) Livingston of Marion; thirteen grandchildren, Ronnie (Lisa Sheridan) Livingston, John (Jennifer Blong) Livingston, Jennifer Livingston (Mike)Thompson, Nick Livingston, Lora Jan Schmuecker, Matt Schmuecker, Lisa Livingston, Nathan Livingston, Hunter Livingston, Courtney Livingston, Alicia Livingston, Mitchell Livingston and Samantha Livingston; a great-grandchild, Katelin Rae Thompson; and a sister-in-law, Gladys Roenspiess of Fort Morgan, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Harry Roenspiess Jr.; and a grandson, Patrick.
Janet was born the daughter of Harry C. and Gladys Phillips Roenspiess on September 26, 1926, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Ronald Livingston on July 13, 1946, in Kirksville, Missouri. Janet worked at Peoples Bank and First National Bank in Marion for 20+ years.
