Janet M. Coleman, 51, of Walker, Iowa, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, in her home with her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Walker United Methodist Church, Walker, by the Rev. Norman Kelley. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Murdoch Funeral Home, Walker. Burial: Walker Cemetery.
Survivors include her parents; sons, Martin Coleman and Mitchell (Kaelee) Coleman both of Walker, grandchildren, Hayley, Kathryn and Kevin; her very special aunts, uncles, and cousins that she loved very much; her former husband, Kevin Coleman; and her cats Patches and Scarlet.
Janet was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Henry Niemeier and Sarah and Harley Andrews.
Born February 9, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, Janet was the daughter of William and Marg
uerite (Niemeier) Andrews.
She was a member of the Walker United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
