Jamie Nicole Anderson, 34, of West Des Moines, Iowa, formerly of Indianola, Iowa, passed away, Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Visitation: 5 – 8 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with no formal services to follow.
Jamie Nicole Anderson was born May 13, 1984, on Mother’s Day, in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended Indianola, Iowa public schools while growing up. Jamie graduated from La’ James Cosmetology and later earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2009. She majored in marketing and minored in art. Jamie was very gifted as an artist.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Schoene; father, Richard Schoene; and special grandmother, Maxine Beard. Jamie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will especially be missed by her parents and her two kitties, Layla and Margaret.
Jamie was preceded in death by John Anderson; her uncle, Tom Shaffer; and her grandparents.
