James Zimmerman, 59, of 820 Brandon Avenue, Hiawatha, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in his home after a long illness. Private graveside service at a later date with burial at Grand River Cemetery, Grand River, Iowa. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Survivors include two sons, James Jr. and Lance Allen; two daughters Brenda Johnson and Renee` Bahntge; his mother, Dorothea Gilland of Davenport; one brother, Alvin of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Bowers of Davenport and June Lovell of Juanita, Nebraska.
