James Delbert Myers, 82, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, in the Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk, Iowa. Graveside Inurnment: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Bill Harnish. Arrangemetns by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
James was preceded in death by his parents; and sister.
James was born August 28, 1927, and was raised in Cedar Rapids. He was a member of the Eagles Club and a good bowler. He was a cab driver for Century Cab.
He was a good hearted man and will be deeply missed by his caretaker of 10 years, Jennie Hoff and her son Dekota.
James was preceded in death by his parents; and sister.
