James Joseph Lacey IV, 36, of 1150 Sierra Drive NE, died Friday, August 25, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Private Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at the Club House, 1150 Sierra Dr. NE, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; his parents, James and Juanita Lacey of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Shawn Marie Spain and Cynthia Joy Armstrong, both of Cedar Rapids; a niece, Heidi Marie; four nephews, Richard Ernest, John Lee, Christopher Lee and Douglas James; his mother-in-law, Alice Rife of Omaha, Nebraska; numerous aunts and uncles; and his cats, Sabbath and Sassy.
He was born May 4, 1970, in San Diego, California, the son of James Joseph III and Juanita Marie Lawver Lacey. On June 22, 2002, he married Laura Lynn Rife, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
