James R. "Jim" Thibadeau

Jim R. Thibadeau, 57, of Delhi , died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Cedar Rapids at Manor Care.
Memorial Services: 1:30 pm, Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home in Earlville. Visitation: 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Inurnment with Military Honors: Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.
Jim was born March 9, 1955 in Manchester, Iowa, the son of John and Phyllis (Herman) Thibadeau. Jim graduated from West Delaware High School in 1973. Jim served two tours with U.S. Army from April 1980 – 1984 and 1985 – 1992. Jim enjoyed reading, his dog, Splinter, and watching military movies and cartoons with his girls.
Jim is survived by his parents, John and Phyllis Thibadeau of Manchester; two children, LaVon Thibadeau of Coggon, Yvette Chase of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Kylie, Lane, Clayton, and Lukas; one brother, Bill (Teresa) Thibadeau of Oneida; and nieces and nephews, Travis, Brian, Baillie, and Wyatt.
Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Thibadeau.
