James L. "Jim" Sprague

James L. Sprague, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died, Sunday, April 29, 2012. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at The Neighborhood Church, 701 25th St. NE, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Jim Coyle. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Lorrie; three children, Laurie Pence, Jami Jones and DeKota Sprague; three stepchildren, Joshua Smith, Mariah Broadwater, Jared Roy, all of Cedar Rapids; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mamie “Granny” Robertson; his parents; a daughter, Stacy Sprague; and brother, William Sprague.
Jim was born July 31, 1951, the son of LeRoy and Madeline (Fortner) Sprague, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was an Union Iron Worker with Local 89.
