James M. Hultquist

James M. Hultquist, 65, of 1140 11th Street, Marion, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Knights of Columbus Council 909, 716 A Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements are with Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Connie; his children, Jimmy (Aleks) Hultquist of Champaign, Illinois, Christiane Hultquist of Brooklyn, New York, Johnny (Christina) Hultquist of Cedar Rapids, David (Tiffiney) Hultquist of Hiawatha, Dan Hultquist of Cedar Rapids and Mary (Brandon) Holub of Palo; two grandchildren, Romeo and Kambree and two expected grandchildren yet to be born.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Chloe Faye Holub.
Jim came from a family of thirteen children being born October 27, 1940, to John W. and Edna M. (Fisher) Hultquist in LeClaire, Iowa. On October 16, 1966, he was united in marriage to Constance A. Brady in Cedar Rapids. Jim worked for Papa John?s Pizza in Marion for several years.
Jim was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy in life was his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial fund has been established in Jim?s memory at Linn Area Credit Union in Marion.
