James Raymond Heinrichs

James Raymond Heinrichs, 59, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away November 18, 2019. A Memorial Gathering of Remembrance will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa.
James was born September 19, 1960, in Camp Zama, Japan, the son of Richard and Rosemary (Vosberg) Heinrichs. He was a 1979 graduate of Dubuque Walhert High School. James was united in marriage to Lori Ann Darland. He served honorably in the United States Navy. James worked as an electrician for IBEW. He enjoyed fishing, riding in RAGBRAI, and spending time with his grandchildren. Prior to going on the bike ride, James’ grandchildren would paint his toenails. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
James is survived and lovingly remembered by his children, Dustin Heinrichs, Cody Heinrichs, Jessica (Gerald) Geuther, Charlene Cashen, and Darlene (Keith) Juchem; mother, Rosemary Heinrichs; sister, Linda Heinrichs; brother, Joe Heinrichs; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; and wife, Lori; and brother, Jack.
