Jacqueline Elaine Martin, 46, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011, at the Gospel Tabernacle Church, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2011, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth Beets; children, Jasenia Navarro, Johnny Navarro, Jr. and Elizabeth Navarro all of Cedar Rapids; special companion, Johnny Navarro, Sr.; siblings, LaRhonda (Odilon) Vargas of Cedar Rapids, Isaiah (Renee) Martin II of Cedar Rapids, Daylene (Keever) Sproles of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Kristen Hodges of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father.
Born November 23, 1964, in Knobester, Missouri, Jacqueline was the daughter of Isaiah and Elizabeth Martin. She worked for Tyson’s Foods.
Jacqueline was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church.
She was a loving, sweet person with great wisdom. She enjoyed giving gifts, reggae music and was a Bob Marly fan. Her greatest joy was her family.
A memorial fund has been established.
