Jacqueline “Jackie” Snyder, 92, of Manchester, Iowa, died Monday, June 13, 2016. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016, at First Lutheran Church, Manchester, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Arrangements by Bohnenkamp – Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester.

Jacqueline is survived by her son, Russel of Golden Valley, Minnesota; daughter, Pam (Tom) Egts of Bettendorf; granddaughters, Stacy (Luke) Abar of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Stephanie (Chucky) Ashraf of University Heights, Ohio, and Michelle (Brandon) Chaison of Davenport; great-grandchildren, Noah and Eli Abar, and Moriah Ashraf; and dear friend, Marla Schiess.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin.

Jacqueline Snyder was born October 11, 1923, of parents Edward and Emma (Fink) Jackson in Strawberry Point, Iowa. She graduated from Strawberry Point High School in 1940. She married Marvin Snyder on December 18, 1948 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Dubuque, Iowa.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Sewing Circle, and activities at the church, life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and Honorary Board Member of Camp Courageous. Jackie worked at battery factory in Dubuque during World War II. She assisted Marvin in running the Snyder Oil business. She was passionate in her work with the Camp Courageous Garage Sale and was an Honorary Board Member.

Memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous in Monticello, Iowa.
