Jack Henry Schuster, one week old son of Dan and Bridget Schuster, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Dan and Bridget; maternal grandparents, Rev. Daniel and Rev. Martha Anderson of Sioux City; paternal grandparents, George and Linda Schuster of Titonka, Iowa; great grandparents, Carol Considine of Iowa City, Arnold and Lorraine Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD and Clara Hellwinckel of Fulda, MN. Aunt, Lorie (Marv) Fangman of Clive, IA; and uncles, Mark Schuster of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Schuster of Phoenix, AZ, Michael Anderson of New York, NY, Gregory Anderson of Sioux City and Nicholas Anderson of Sioux City; three cousins, Abi and Cali Fangman of Clive and Nicole Schuster of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Helen Schuster; great grandparents, Rev. Frank Considine, Carl Hellwinckel and Arthur and Marie Schuster.
Jack was born June 14, 2006, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and was baptized on June 21, 2006. Although Jack was with us for only a week, he touched many lives.
