Howard M. Larson, 88, of Waverly, Iowa, formerly of the Central City area, died Friday, March 2, 2007, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, following a lengthy illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville, Iowa. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his siblings, Harry Larson of Central City, Marie Jenderzak of Huntley, Illinois, and Don (Jan) Larson of Amana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
Howard was born January 15, 1919, in Martelle, Iowa, the son of Walter and Dorcas (Barrett) Larson. He worked in auto assembly for many years in Detroit.
