Henry “Hank” F. Brunsman, 83, of Dundee, died March 29, 2015. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manchester. Family will greet friends from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Bohnenkamp Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, with a 3:00 p.m. Scripture Service. Additional visitation, one hour prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.

Hank was born September 5, 1931 near Worthington, the son of Edward and Marcella (Willenborg) Brunsmann. He was a 1949 graduate of Dundee Consolidated High School. Hank served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1951-1953, during the Korean Conflict. He then worked at Wilson’s Pack, in Cedar Rapids. On October 6, 1953, Hank was united to marriage to Delores Theel at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manchester. The couple farmed near Earlville until moving to their farm north of Dundee in 1961. Hank liked playing baseball and softball, and did so for more than 50 years. He took part in the Veterans' Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C. He enjoyed playing pinochle with friends and was known as “Grandpa Brunsman” to many.

Surviving are two sons, Lynn (Karen) Brunsman of Dundee, and Larry (Kathy) Brunsman of Manchester; five grandchildren, Amanda (fiancé Lance Donlon) Brunsman, Nicholas (Shelby Stufflebeam) Brunsman, Angie (fiancé Terrill Adams) Brunsman, Chad (Jen) Brunsman, and April (Greg) Hinton; three great-grandchildren, Ryley and Dylan Brunsman, and Max Hinton; siblings, William “Bill” Brunsmann, Mary Davis, John (Karen Schulte) Brunsman, and Susan (Robert) Luensman; multiple nieces and nephews, and a special nephew Bruce (Beth) Pogue.

Hank was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores; a brother, Francis, in infancy; in-laws, Vivian & Glen Pogue, Neil Davis and Leola Brunsman.
