She was preceded in departure by her parents, Agnes and Vilem Popek; loving and dedicated husband, Albin Zrudsky; and mischievous brothers, Wencil and William Popek.
Helen was born February 22, 1913, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the soon to be rambunctious daughter of determined, hardworking, and proud parents, Vilem and Agnes Popek, then new residents of this hopeful and abundant community. She remained a bright light through out her life to all those fortunate to have been touched by her seemingly unbounded kind loving spirit. People contacted believe her real mission was to get others to realize that these "things" are not only abundant but have strong tendencies to grow incredibly........ particularly when shared! Although she will be deeply missed, consensus has it that this was simply the first leg of her essential Journey.
In addition to her devotion to her family, she was also a dedicated employee of Wilson Foods, faithful follower of her church, outstanding cook, jolly joker, and lifetime member of the Czech Society Association and St. Ludmila's Church.
