Helen (Novak) Swalley was born June 12, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, to John and Maria
(Svoboda) Novak. She married Robert Swalley on June 5, 1950. He died in 1967.
Helen is survived by her son Robert L. Swalley (Mary) of Rosemount MN.; grandsons, Adam M. Swalley and Matt J. McDonald; sister, Mary Klopp of Cedar Rapids; brother, John Novak of Florida, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Debra K. McDonald (Cliff); and brothers, Joe, Chuck, George, Wes and Otto.
