Helen “Jean” Pitlik, 94, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019, at St. John’s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Jean was born May 4, 1924, in Central City, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Wilma (Miller) Mosher. On September 15, 1951, at All Saints Church in Cedar Rapids she was united in marriage to Francis Pitlik. Jean was employed at Quaker Oats throughout her working career. Francis and Jean enjoyed traveling to numerous countries around the world. Upon moving to Keystone Place, she enjoyed reading, puzzles, and playing cards with friends.
Jean is survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Francis.
