Helen F. Barnhill, 65, of Ryan, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester, following a long illness. Services: 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2006, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City by Rev. Darran Whiting. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial: Alice Cemetery, rural Center Point.
Survivors include her step-son, Roger Barnhill of Lansing, Michigan, and her brother, George Machacek of Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Helen was born March 5, 1941, the daughter of George and Albia (Weininger) Machacek in the Center Point area. On March 6, 1964, she married Allen O. Barnhill in Manchester. He died March 8, 1999.
Survivors include her step-son, Roger Barnhill of Lansing, Michigan, and her brother, George Machacek of Ryan.
