Harvie E. Jellison, 79, of 75 Robinwood Drive, Robins, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Services: 2 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Pastor Nat Perry. A luncheon will be served before the service at noon at the Toddville American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 - 8 p.m. today (Thursday.) Burial: Lafayette Cemetery, rural Alburnett, with military honors.

Survivors include his wife, Nora; a daughter, Victoria Teed of Robins; two grandsons, Curtis Allen Teed and Clifford Aaron Teed; and two great-grandchildren, Angel and Stephen Teed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Stephen Edward Jellison.

Harvie was born the son of Albert Lee Jellison and Hulda Rockwood Jellison on June 27, 1926, in West Otter Creek Township, Linn County, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army with the 118th Infantry during World War II. On September 4, 1948, he was united in marriage to Nora I. Stull in Cedar Rapids. Harvie retired from Iowa Manufacturing after thirty-seven years with the company. He was a member of the Alburnett Historical Society, Faith Bible Church in Robins and Toddville American Legion Post 674, which will provide graveside military honors.

Harvie was an avid bowler at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.
