Harry J. Stomp Jr., 73, of Marion, died Sunday, November 5, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. A celebration of his life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the home of Adam & Ana Stomp.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Stomp of Marion; a daughter, Michelle (Rick) Wood of Anamosa; a son, Adam (Ana) Stomp of Marion; and three grandchildren, Evalyn, Reina, and Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Harry was born April 28, 1944, the son of Harry & Theora (Dohner) Stomp in Harrisburg, Pennysylvania. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1967 and was stationed in Korea. On February 19, 1972, he married Judy Kucinskas in Chicago.
Harry enjoyed airplanes and was a private pilot. He listened to the Beach Boys & watched Star Trek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Harry’s memory.
