He gave 100% to every one of his endeavors, including his 3-year relentless battle with Myelodysplastic syndrome. Harry is now on his final journey to pursue new projects. May God richly bless all who lightened our burden during this trying time, especially our dear friends, our family and church family, Dr. Kutteh and her fantastic “gang” and Mercy Hospice.
Harry was born October 21, 1936, to Erma and Harry McNeal. On January 6, 1963, he married Karen Baer at Sharon United Methodist Church. They have a daughter, Michele in Cedar Rapids and a son, David in Olathe, Kansas. Harry retired from the USPS. He was an active member at the Sharon United Methodist Church and the Elks Club.
Gregarious by nature, possessing a quick wry sense of humor, and enjoying countless interests, he amassed many friends. Our part of the world will never be the same without our devoted husband, dad and friend.
