Harold “Red” Drew of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away June 4, 2023, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 - 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, 520 Wilson Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, is assisting the family.
Hal was born April 30, 1958, to Robert and Jessie Drew. He was married to Tina Thompson Allen Boots.
Survivors include his mother, Jessie Drew LeFebure; sisters, Robin (Greg) Byers and Mary (Jeff) Weisinger, brother-in-law, Dave Verhille; children, Michael Mastin, Stephen (Iesha) Allen, and Julie Allen; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kiley, Kia, Taylor, Aaliyah, Treyvon, Addison (Bobby), Arkel, Briley, Anthony; sisters-in-law, Sheila Boots, Melody (Dennis) Schnipkoweit, Deborah Fossel, and Tami (Dave) Dicus; brother-in-law, Joseph (Dawn) Boots; seven nephews, one niece, nine great nieces and nephews and an awesome work family at Pearson’s.
Hal was preceded by his wife, Tina; father, Robert; and sister, Sue Verhille.
