Guy Robert Joseph L?Abbe, 55, of 1389 Elmhurst Dr. NE, died Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center from a heart attack. Services: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Marion by Rev. Mike Morgan. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Lynn of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Leonie L?Abbe of Morinville, Alberta, Canada; a sister, Joanne (Greg) Rosenthal of Bon Accord, Alberta, Canada; a brother, Danny (Roberta) L?Abbe of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada; his son, Braden L?Abbe and his daughter, Andrea L?Abbe, both of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert L?Abbe.
Guy was born August 3, 1951, the son of Albert and Leonie (Letourneaux) L?Abbe in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. On September 2, 1989, he married Lynn Walker at Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada. Guy and Dr. Lynn owned and operated Linn-Mar Chiropractic in Marion. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion, where he was a current confirmation leader.
