Grace was born January 10, 1910, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Cook) Baum, in Anamosa, Iowa. Grace loved to cook and she certainly excelled in doing so. Widowed twice, she did not have an easy life. Grace worked caring for doctors’ children and for the Sinclair Packing Company. Her greatest joy came from the years she worked as a nurse’s aide in Pediatrics at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Special thanks to the Living Center West staff for the wonderful care given to Grace her last three years and also to Hospice of Mercy for their comfort..
