Grace “Pat” Farmer, 86, of Des Moines, died Thursday June 7, 2012, at the Kavaugh House. Private entombment at Linwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include son, Neil Christensen of Las Vegas; daughter, Kim (Mike) Voshell of Indianola; brother, Patrick (Sandy) Frank of Cedar Rapids, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Preceded by parents, husband, Archie Farmer; and brothers, Jimmie and Harry Vernon.
Gracie was born December 10, 1925, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Jess and Francis Vernon. On September 16, 1977 she married Archie, he passed away in 1997.
