Grace Boyd

Grace L. Boyd, 95, formerly of Marion, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, at the Hiawatha Care Center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Center Point Road Church of Christ, by Robert Lukenbill, III. The family will greet friends from 4 - 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church building. Burial: Dunkard Cemetery, Toddville, Iowa.
Grace is survived by many cousins, including Bernita Coonrod (who was like a sister), Howard Heefner, Hazel Keil, Doris Smith, Arnold Lanning, Evelyn Roseberry and many special friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Rolland Boyd.
Grace was born February 26, 1913, the daughter of Earl and Lottie (Oliphant) Boyd, near Toddville, Iowa. She worked at Farmers State Bank, Lowe & Eschman and for many years was the office manager for the City of Marion Water Department. Grace was a member of the Center Point Road Church of Christ.
