Georgia Mae Rose

Georgia M. Rose died April 14, 2007, in the Hiawatha Care Center after a long illness. Services: Monday, 11:00 a.m., April 16, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rev. Joseph Polzin will officiate. Burial: Carroll Cemetery, Carroll, Iowa, at a later date.
Georgia was born February 7, 1930, in Carroll, Iowa, to Harry and June (Mays) Rose. She graduated from Carroll High School and the University of Iowa. A long time resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was a buyer for Dayton?s Department Store and later a recruiter and job placement specialist at the Minnesota School of Business.
She is survived by her brother, Jack (Dolores) Rose of Solon, Iowa; a niece and nephew; three grand nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and loyal Minneapolis friends.
