Georgeann M. Fox, 78, of Manchester died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Good Neighbor Home following a lengthy illness.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester by Rev. Greg Bahl. Family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester where there will be a 7:00 p.m. Scripture Service. Visitation will also be one hour before services Monday at the church where there will be a 9:00 a.m. Rosary Service. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
Georgeann was born December 17, 1930 to George and Kathryn (Moreland) Kramer in Dyersville. Following graduation from Manchester High School in 1948, she worked in the abstract office at the Delaware County Court House. On December 18, 1953, Georgeann was united in marriage to John “Charlie” Fox in Manchester.
Georgeann was a loving mother, and wife. She will always be remembered for her honesty, sense of humor, and her unselfish devotion to her family.
Georgeann is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Ed) Eike of Manchester and Nanette Fox of North Liberty; three sons, Rex (Dee) Fox of Lisbon, Ted Fox of Manchester, and Kurt (Sonja) Fox of Dyersville; six grandchildren, Barry (Sara) and Brandon Eike, Nicole Dunkel, Hailey and Morgan Fox, and Ian Gassmann; and two great grandchildren, Lexi and Carley Eike.
Georgeann was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Fox in 2006; her parents, George and Kathryn Kramer; and four brothers, Julius, Tom, Paul Kramer and Andrew, in infancy.
